About John
Dad. ICU nurse. Community advocate.
As a father of six children in Forsyth County, John Holder believes every decision about our schools should start with one question: What is best for our kids? Our schools succeed when we focus on students, support our teachers, and keep politics out of the classroom.
An ICU nurse, John brings calm, steady leadership to high-pressure situations where decisions must be thoughtful, practical, and grounded in facts. He will bring that same approach to the Forsyth County Board of Education — working to strengthen student safety, support teachers, address student mental health, and keep students at the center of every decision.
John and his wife Kasey, an ICU nurse and United States Marine Corps veteran, are the proud parents of six children — five girls and one boy — all graduates or future graduates of Forsyth County Schools.
Vote John Holder — steady leadership and strong schools for Forsyth County.
